Mirror, Mirror on the Wall, Who is the Best Decorator of Them All?

Me?

Haha! I am not that egotistical.

There are so many great designers that I admire.

However, for sure, I am a mirror lover.

Mirrors work almost anywhere.

They are not just for vanity. Although they are a necessity to me for coordinated dressing, make-up, etc.

I am pretty sure you are in need of more mirrors in your home. One mirror per room is rarely enough!

They magnify light and add sparkle, which gives a room life.

They act as neutral “art”

Mirrors are great massed together – like below – but also perfect for when you want to accessorize a wall without adding much color.

Easily mixed into a Gallery Wall. More about that here.

They add drama.

Look at this mix of gold and silver frames. I love the height of the arrangement.

Also interesting to see that they are reflecting quite a few detailed collections on the opposite wall of the room.

Would also work well to reflect trees from a garden…bring the outside in!

They add charm.

A vintage mirror collection in a farm house bathroom.

This would be an interesting surprise for guests in a powder room.

Country Living Magazine is a great resource for rustic charm inspiration.

Nestling them together, creates a collage effect.

Of course, the brick wall helps to add a lot of character!

Antique Malls, Home Goods, Target, World Market…all are filled with different shapes and sizes.

I am pretty sure, in one afternoon you could find all the mirrors you need to create one of these looks.

Is there a room or wall in your home that you could use a “mirror wall”?

I am thinking maybe you should put your creative hat on and go for it!
